International Microbiome Workshop Symposium

As part of the IV International Conference World of Microbiome in Sofia (Bulgaria), a symposium Microbiome Workshop was held with the support of DNA-Technology and RIDACOM.

The conference is designed to promote collaboration between researchers, and industry to remove obstacles in the field of microbial medicine. Joint discussion of issues creates new opportunities for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

The leading speaker of the symposium, Prof. E.S. Voroshilina, presented the results of original research on the use of Fermoflor®, Androflor® and ENTEROFLOR Kiddy in clinical practice. The issues discussed during the report included:
- Protocols and algorithms, implementation of microbiome qPCR in routine analysis;
- Basics of modern approaches to the assessment of intestinal microbiota in children;
- Comparison of the ENTEROFLOR Kiddy study with other methods.
